Bridlewood to Unveil an Art Gallery

Wine and Art at Bridlewood Estate

One of the most scenic wineries in Santa Ynez is opening an art gallery featuring local artists beginning on June 26, 2011. The gallery will showcase nine local artists whose pieces were inspired by the art of winemaking on California's Central Coast. The works have been compiled into a collection called the “Bridlewood Gallery” and will be on display at the Bridlewood Estate through December 2011.

2011 Edge of L.A. International Wine Festival

Benefiting the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy

Swirl and sip for a cause at the second-annual Edge of L.A. International Wine Festival. Featuring over 30 winemakers, with wine pairings and appetizers from Michael's of Tuscany, the festival will benefit the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy. Ticket packages range from $35 to $135.

Date: Saturday April 30, 2011
Time: 2:30pm to 5:30 pm
Where: Michael's of Tuscany, 470 W. 7th, San Pedro, CA

About the Festival
This festival is put together to support charitable foundations in and around San Pedro. A portion of the ticket proceeds and all of the silent auction proceeds will go to charity.

The 2011 festival beneficiary will be the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy.

The Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy (PVPLC) was founded in 1988 by a group of concerned area residents as a non-profit, non-political, public benefit 501(c)(3) corporation. Our mission is to preserve undeveloped land in perpetuity as open space for historical, educational, ecological, recreational and scenic purposes.

Since its founding, the PVPLC has successfully preserved nearly 1400 acres of Peninsula open space. We work cooperatively with cities, property owners and environmental groups, locating funds for purchasing land, providing tax benefits for land donation, restoring habitat, and promoting the conservation of natural open space. Our service area covers the geographic Palos Verdes Peninsula, including the cities of Palos Verdes Estates, Rancho Palos Verdes, Rolling Hills, Rolling Hills Estates and San Pedro.

OTV Wine Club members & PVPLC members receive special pricing and will be able to enter the Festival 30 minutes before the general public.
